Justin Sparkes – Principal20

This performing arts academy is guided by its principal Justin Sparkes.

Justin was born in Bristol and trained in performing arts at Bodywork P.A. in Cambridge on the principal scholarship. He has worked professionally for over 15 years and has had many engagements in the U.K. and overseas including ‘singing in the rain ‘and ‘Manhattan Nights’ U.K. tour. T.V. Credits include the ‘National Lottery Live’ and ’Copacobana’. Justin has also worked for P&O Cruises U.K. and Carnival Cruise lines U.S.A. having an amazing opportunity to perform whilst travelling all over the globe. He has also been lucky enough to perform in opening ceremonies of major resorts in Doha and Dubai in the U.A.E including the Emiratez Towers.

Justin taught Jazz, Tap and Musical Theatre for Bodywork Theatre School and Bodywork P.A. on the three year musical theatre course.

He also teaches many adult classes including Adult Musical theatre, Tap and Jazz. He is truly passionate about the arts and has a great ability to bring out the best in others. Justin has trained many students who have been accepted into major Performing arts courses in the U.K.

Jacquelyne Hill – Musical Director/Vocal CoachJD

Jacquelyne has been performing for over twenty years and is experienced in all areas of theatre. In 2009 Jacquelyne won BBC Radio 2 young chorister of the year which led to many radio and television performances as well as giving her the opportunity to perform in concerts nationally and internationally. In 2012 Jacquelyne moved to Cardiff to train at The Royal welsh College of Music and Drama, and since then has performed with Mid Wales opera, Opera’r Ddraig and Welsh national youth opera and is a scholar with BBC national chorus of Wales. She is currently working with Forget-me-Not chorus, a choir that supports people living with dementia and their carers, and has had experience working the Welsh national youth opera’s, “singing club” for children aged 10 – 14. She has also run a series of workshops in schools introducing young people to music and theatre. Jacquelyne is a very skilled dancer, having trained at the London School of Contemporary Dance for three years before moving to Cardiff, and also has a wealth of experience in Drama and Musical theatre. Jacquelyne is very excited to join the JustOne – Theatre Arts team.
